As we witness the construction of our new office come in full swing, we know we are changing address very soon. Last December, our Management opened its hall where we held our first Christmas Party at our new ho-ho-home!
This made our celebration doubly special, as we anticipate our company’s growth. I will reserve a more focused blog about our new home as soon as we have packed our bags and unloaded our stuff at our new address. I promise it will be so soon.
But for now, let me share how our Christmas Party went. We had competing groups do relays, trick games, t-shirt designs, and presentations, which encouraged a lot of interaction from several arms of Promax and its sister companies, Ingenti Radix and Regolith. The color-coded teams of multi-origins (I mean a mix of companies and departments) were full of energy and were pleasantly competitive throughout the whole program.
For each leg a team won, a house piece of their team color was put in a house puzzle set up onstage. We also gave an extra piece to the team which got the most number of winnings. There were Green, Blue, Yellow, Red, and Violet teams. Surprisingly, at the end of the program, the roof, door, walls, and windows of the house puzzle were all painted violet. It was a grand slam win for the Violet team! The chimney, though, became yellow, as the special awardee of best t-shirt design came from that team. We may soon be occupying a violet building with yellow chimney (wink, wink).
True enough, there will be certain workers or departments which will shine, whose hard work will be more evident compared to others. But it does not mean that the others did not exert any effort. Like with the games, each one who participated, whether he won or not, contributed an imprint. Our combined snippets of victory and defeat, regardless of proportions, contribute to the completion of our new home.
What’s a party without uncovering the other side of our colleagues? We discovered a wealth of dancing and singing talents from Admin, Logistics, and Feeds. The ladies from Food Ingredients shared their creativity and resourcefulness by organizing each nitty-gritty stuff of this event. Our CEO conducted a trivia game about our new building, and geared us towards our celebration of Promax’s 40th year in 2018. I think we all had fun. And most importantly, everybody felt the joy of being part of Promax family, and the excitement of being part of our company’s growth.
This Christmas Party served as a teaser for our most anticipated transfer. In a couple of months, we will be sitting at our new address, our new home. In a couple of months, we will be entering our 40th year. In a couple of months, our home puzzle will be complete. PLEASE WAIT FOR THE BIG REVEAL OF OUR VIOLET BUILDING WITH YELLOW CHIMNEY!
